You might not know his name but you know his work. Shepard Fairley is that guy behind those ubiquitous HOPE posters, and the inspiration for their hilarious knock offs.
Anyhow, I was walking around during lunch today and I 
noticed that he's got a show at the Irvine Contemporary Gallery, right around the corner from the Logan Circle Whole Foods in Washington.
His stuff, even beyond the obamaganda, is iconic and amazing.
